hi,

I have built the compressor section, removing the mic input and using line input only for guitar or bass (change R8 to 1M for high impedance input)
The compressor works very well. Is possible change attack time by changing C23 (with 4,7u) and insert a 10k pot between Q6 collector and Q5 base.

R49 and C23 would seem to be completely analogous to the 150k resistor and 10uf cap in the traditional Dynacomp/Ross rectifier circuit, meaning that charge-up time for C23 should be dictated by a variable resistance between the collectors of Q6/Q7 and the junction of R49/C23.  You can tinker with the gain recovery time by playing with the value of R49.
