Hi All,
A friend gave me an EHX Hog to take a look at because he said there was something wrong with it. That something is that the effect works when engaged but not when bypassed.
The LED comes on when engaged and the signal is fine, but when bypassed I'm getting nothing.
There are two outputs, a direct out and a regular output. The direct output doesn't seem to work at all and the regular output is only working when the effect is engaged.

I've attached some very basic pictures of the switches so you can see it's just SPDT.

I know it's a digital machine and I'm reluctant to take the pcb all the way out given the amount of faders and screws holding the interface in, but I thought I'd test the waters to see if anyone has any ideas.

Nothing?
I presume that because the switch is working it has something to do with a microprocessor?

I audio traced the input board but I don't really know where I'm going with it. The signal is going in, but when it's switched over it's being cutoff at some point and not allowed to continue to the outs.
