Hello,

hope this is a valid question for this forum, as it's a mod/fix of a pedal I've restored rather than built!

Roland ap2 phaser: wasn't working so replaced the op amp chips after a complete resolder and now works, the switch however is tempremental to say the least.

I've been advised that a Carling DPDT would do the trick but I've seen a couple of different types, also the current switch has 3 lugs and these seem to have 6.  :icon_redface:

Can anybody point me to a good switch guide, or walk me through?

Would eventually like to add a dc input as the pedal is currently powered by via two 9v batteries, but that's for another time.

Many thanks!

Steve.

it sounds like you have a single pole, double throw, wired not true bypass. can you show us a photo of guts? a dpdt wiill replace just fine, you could use the extra for either true bypassing, or a led indicator, or both. have a look at geofex or amz for bypass infos.
