Tube Screamer 9 need help..

I wish I had one of those tube amps haha. But I will try it on another amp, maybe tube amp if I could get one. But thanks a lot dudess!
To be honest, I'm a total newbie here, I'm still figuring out how resistor, transistor, etc work. So I don't really understand about the clipping you were talking about    maybe you don't mind to explain

You don't necessarily need a tube amp... But, you do need a decent amp. Line 6 is self contained unit/processor and they don't play real well with outside pedals like overdrives etc... Try it with a Randall or another good solid state amp. It will work well providing that you built it correctly?
