Capacitor switch in fuzz face build

Hey Guys,

I would like to have a switch for C3 to go between a couple different values for caps in my fuzz face build. Possibly as many as 3. How would I go about wiring the SPDT switch with the different caps? And could I use a on-off-on for 3 different caps? Here is a picture of the circuit.

get your three caps, and join one end of each together. now take the free lead of the two higher values to the outer lugs of your SPDT centre off switch. connect the smallest value caps free end to the "common" lug on the switch. now the common lug and the three-way connection are your in/out [it's bidirectional, non-directional].

whichever large value is in-switched will be added to the small value. the small value is always in circuit.

I would try the potentiometer method.
Like lovepedal blend pot at input:

I didnt think about "stacking the values" like that. Is that a better option to alleviate popping when switching between the two or three?

^ I did that recently with the input cap(s) on a FF build for a buddy.  Haven't noticed any popping, but it wasn't really intended to be switched while playing either.

Awesome! Looks clean! Yeah I don't plan to be switching while playing, just was curious since its in the output stage that ill be switching caps. Not sure if that would create popping. As soon as my next order of switches comes in ill be testing!!

I prefer series switching whenever possible in order to avoid stray capacitor ends - not sure if that's really a big problem though. Here's a 3-way series example using a center-on SPDT:

ahh, well, now, I don't remember you mentioning without popping in the original question. but resistors, high values, across the "hanging" cap ends will go a long way to stop the pop.
