Noob expression pedal help

I'm planning on moding PB&J Delay pedal with oscillation and I want to add an input for an expression pedal that would control the speed. Would I just need to connect a jack to the pot that controls speed? I think that's how it would work but I need confirmation.

Oscillation on delay pedals usually comes from the feedback chain, so you'll probably want to mess with the repeats pot, not the speed pot. I'd need a schematic to say more than that.

I already know how to do the oscillation but it sounds really cool when you turn the speed knob so I want to add a pedal that controls speed.
