Need help with wiring and switching midi..

a friend of mine asked me to build a on/off switch for his midi. he's tired of unplugging his cable during gigs and performances and wants a box with two
separate midi ins and to outs that can be switched on and off with a switch.. all of this passive obviously..

and yes.. he's only using 3 pins. i thought id buy some chassis neutrik 19" rack midi plugs.. two on both sides of a hammond box.. but whats the best switch to use?
it only has two on/off switch the signal.

Doesn't the description of the pins 4 and 5 indicate which you want to break?

Not being a smartarse - I've never popped a midi cable open before, but it seems like the answer is there - I'm GUESSING pin four, open and close it.
