i always use a wrench to dial in my sound/turn my knobs.. :icon_mrgreen:

seriously though.

ive never had a pot wriggle loose...but i do tighten the hell out of them with a ratchet/socket...

if anything is the weakest link its the grub screw on the knobs...(which is why i'm after a ''long handled'' (grub screw) driver instead of the poxy 'jewellers' drivers i currently have (not enough grip).. :icon_rolleyes:

PCB mounted pots help keep the pot from travelling, if there is 2 or more. (This is not the best solution, though, since it puts some stress on the component legs. But if you are not an orang-utan, probably not too much.)
