Blend Knob Trouble

I'm trying to install a blend control for dry/wet blend in a fuzz pedal.
This is the schematic I am using: http://www.runoffgroove.com/splitter-blend.html

I'm not using the phase polarity switch so there are just two op amp buffers going to the blend control.  When I have the control set all the way to clean, I am getting some quiet crunch with the clean tone when the gain knob is all the way up on the fuzz.  With the gain all the way down it is just the clean tone.  Does anyone have any suggestion to get pure clean tone?

Forgive me but have you made a pedal with the splitter and bolted the fuzz on in the send/return path and are wondering why you cant get a completely clean sound?
The splitter is intended as a stand alone pedal.
A fuzz reacts best when its loading down the guitar pick ups and is first in line. Perhaps this is not the best approach to be able to get from clean(no effect blended in) to fuzzed out clean.
And im sure if you had made the pedals seperately you could bypass the fuzz and get a cleaner sound. Although as i say i'm sure that fuzz is not best implimented in this way.
I'm no expert so perhaps the real guys will put me right but thats my opinion.
I tried this and the beavis audio splitter blender and i like the beavis better.
I tried what you did thinking i didnt need two send/returns and IIRC I never did get it going.
the beavis schemo worked fine for me i did do a switchable R4*resistor mod for differant pedals though.

heres the schemo and this is meant as a stand alone pedal too
