Boss CS3 sounding way off !!

I have a Boss CS3 that i modified about 2 years ago for a good friend , and its taken a turn for the worse !!

It will still pass audio , all controls work , but its just sounds lifeless & dead with a lack of volume .

I have checked about every component that i know how too at this point .... i even replace the two 4558L chips !

The other two chips i do not have , THAT 2181C , and  a NMJ 3404 AL .

Where can you get these IC's ??
