Questions for EnviroTex Lite users

I finally picked some up and am looking forward to finishing my pedals with this stuff.

I read the instructions and will make sure I stir the product well, scraping the sides and bottom and transferring to another cup as they recommend. What I am wondering about is:
1.What do I mount the enclosure and bottom plate on while pouring?
2.How do I get coverage on the sides of the enclosure?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
