I am building the direct box schematic on this pcb and I have a question about the gain pot. The directions simply says The R13 Gain pot is external to the pcb and is connected to the I1 inverting input. Whicj lug is connected and do I need to jumper any of the other lugs? HELP!!!  :icon_biggrin:

I'm not sure I can post a link to the instructions, you only get them after you pay for the board. To the website, I was hoping jack would chime in.

Pot goes from I1 to Ground. Both pads are right there (note that Ground and the next two holes are tied together). Use the center lug and one end lug. If the pot "turns backward", use the other end-lug. (It's possible to pre-figure this, but I get it wrong a lot, and find trial/error/swap faster than thinking.)

Unlike some other topologies, where you "should" jump the unused end-lug to center (to limit the excess when the pot wiper goes bad), here a bad wiper just goes quiet, so no end-center jumper is needed.

I have updated the support page with images of the external pots for each configuration.

Best regards, Jack

(ps: Paul, thanks for helping out.)
