I always hesitated to carry titles that can be found elsewhere, because nobody can compete on price with large on-line stores. But it occurred to me that they can't say to a beginner in electronics: "To do the demo/build the circuit on page nn, here are the SKU numbers that you need to buy." Nor can they provide breadboard layouts, hacks, etc. I figure to collect this material in a printed "companion" and eventually include it with the purchase of a book. Please encourage the beginners who inquire about books to spend the extra few bucks, feed bears (!) and thereby encourage this project.

Suggestions welcome for what other titles to add!

You might wish to negotiate with Brian Wampler, if he's still doing his "How To Modify Effects Pedals" books?
...you fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way...

Denton Dailey's Electronics for Guitarists is good. I've been thinking about attempting a Tycobrahe Parapedal and I went back to look at the "wah" section and lo and behold it's got a full description (although he doesn't name it as such).

And in terms of value-add to existing books, a copy of Anderton's Electronic Projects for Musicians with suggested replacements for the obsolete parts would save a lot of pain.

I spoke with him at summer NAMM. His pedal biz was going very well and he had stopped doing the books. I will ask again at winter NAMM.

it might be good to see Electrical Engineering 101
in the books list too. I found it a great resource for learning basic recently on holiday.
I have now got to grips with ohm law, and a few other basics.
Just a thought Steve
