My new Crate GTx100 (no mods never even played out :icon_mrgreen:) needs a couple of practical mods.
This one I'm not sure how to do......

There are 2 footswitch selectable, 10k gain pots for the two different gain settings on ch 2.
These pots are in the feedback loop of the op-amp adjusting the gain of the drive stage.
What I want to do is either add a bright cap to ch1 or a high cut to channel 2.
Can this be done in the feedback loop and which way would be easiest.

The goal is to run od1 at low/medium gain and slightly brighter than od2 at rock/metal gain.
Thanks for any suggestions.

A high cut is easy - bypass the pot in the feedback loop with a cap.  The cap's value will determine the roll-off frequency - start at about 1nF and work from there.
