i do like that hodad , i should redo the battery pack , as i have been runnin mine thru an adapter lately too .

i'd love to see how ya did the hacks on your hodad, petey... must be sweet to have control of the delay time. i forget, did you get repeats out of it too, or just the slap?
i still haven't opened mine up.

theres photos in part one , i could send those to you if you would like them .

i demo it in part two but i also talk more specifics about the mod as well .

its smd , but not too bad , i mean you COULD choose to not remove the resistor , but , removing those suckers aint to bad . the challenge or what i couldnt figure out was how the pcb is attached to the chassis , i believe it is epoxied . i cut it down and rehoused it in a cigar box with a 5 inch speaker . my only complaint is the trem rate doesnt go to extremes with the pot i cut in , i may try another value sometime , but it is usable as is . if i do open it up again  i would like to remove the feedback resistor and pot that , also a mod to control the echo volume would be nice . as is it is a bit quiet for my taste , but i tend to go overboard . rechargable internal battery pack is a must though . i got nicads in there now , but i think at least one has seen better days .

the trem rate is a trimmer i removed and subbed a pot . i also removed the timing resistor which is on pin 6 of the 2399 . so it is just those 2 pots i cut in for now , but , i have too many mini amps . the "capitol; amp , we'll its realy something , but then again so is the "metal " amp .
im learning , we'll thats what i keep telling myself
