Anyone try a brush on clearcoat?

I like to do a lot of enamal swirl painted boxes and silimar. Usually just spray clear Krylon. Though it's too cold now and it would be cool to keep the whole process in the house.

Quickly looking I saw this stuff. There's probably more similar. Claims no brush strokes. Expensive but I think a pint would last a very long time if the stuff has long shelf life.

I think it would work good. Saw a review with sombody coating craft eggs. They mentioned it does smell quite strong indoors unfortunately.

Plastikote do a water based paint on clear enamel that I've used a lot with satisfaction. Comes in little pots from dIY stores and maybe craft stores too. Costs about £3.00. It dries quick, in about 20 mins and you can wash the brush in water. If you lay on in thinish coats and lightly rub down between or before final coat, it gives a nice shiny finish with a fine brush.

If you use a water based transfer it will dissolve the print, but you should be okay over acrylic or enamel.
