Well it has to come up with something....

Just start from the input. do you have straight guitar signal?
Goto the source of the JFET, again do you have signal?
Goto the side of the 47nF  not touching the JEFT Source(C2 in scheme below) signal?
Goto Pot Lug 3, Signal?
Etc
