Those edges look sharp, make sure to file them down. Other than that looks good!

Is that Aviation Aluminum? I work for a small aviation company and I keep thinking about all the removed parts lying around and equipment I could use in stompbox builds. ;D

Yeah filing down and finishing the edges with sand paper is the dirty part of the job but you can't do without, those edges are razorsharp they could cut one toe off!

Nope, this is 0,8mm thick steel metal sheets. Right from the bin of a construction company!! Doing this in aluminium you'll need 1,5 / 2mm sheets, you should give it a try, with a little practice it might look good too!

Looks awesome Hair! Like the write up you did on your site too. Those are some heavy duty sheers very nice!

I use tabs on my bent boxes too it really helps in the structures rigidity. I've been making my designs in 3d and then flattening the model to make a template, makes the design process pretty easy.

Love that bending brake too, you have a real nice set up !
