Trying to find something other than the basic Hammond 1590 style enclosure. Made the mistake of searching "enclosure" and got 175 pages of results. Who knew? I'd like to find something like a Digitech or Boss style with the switch being part of the top or the Ibanez/Maxon type. I don't know if those guys make their own boxes or buy them elsewhere. I have found some sites that will take your submitted CAD files and make them for you for a hefty sum... Any ideas?

A couple of pedal builds that I have done with it are in here:

It is a little expensive, because I spent a lot of money to get the tooling done. But it's a complete platform for structured DIY builds.

You can have a look on Hammond websites. He has other style of boxes than his famous 1590 series. I cannot recall the number but it is made of thinner two part metal sheets. I wanted to use them but I couldn't find them for as low prices as the 1590s
Don't know what to do with a paritculare transistor? Check this website where stompbox pedals are listed by what transistors they use

Great looking pedals. Is that a battery compartment cover I'm seeing on the bottom? That's in the ballpark for what I'm looking for. Know of an on/off switch setup like a maxon/ibanez I could try? I haven't been able to find anything quite like it and I'd really like to go for something a bit more unique. 'Course, if it's like theirs, I guess it's not really unique, huh? Well, you know what I mean. Thanx for the reply.

A big diff between this design and BOSS/Ibanez is that I thought it out to be friendly to both a regular stomp switch and an actuator

pressing a board-mounted tactile switch. The built-in studs hold the board securely enough to permit the latter approach. Other application questions, please e-mail at smallbearelec@ix.netcom.com.
