I'm kind of embarrassed to have to be asking this, but I'd rather make sure I'm doing this right than risk messing up my circuit or my components.

I recently finished building a Proco RAT clone and, realizing I had some extra germanium diodes lying around, decided I wanted to make it switchable between a silicon and germanium clipping section. It seemed really simple in my head, but when I sat down and tried to lay it out it started seeming less simple :-/

So this is the layout I used for the RAT:

And this is what I'm planning for the clipping bit:

The real question is, where do I hook it in?  :icon_redface:

There are a few ways to do it, but if you've already built the vero with D1 and D2 on it, then:

1. leave the silicon diodes off the switch
2. attach one lead to Filter lug 1
3. attach the other lead to ground
4. rock out.
