Something I've wanted to sink my teeth into for a long time...made an LXH2 Marshall layout, with a modded LPB upfront (which I may remove or make switchable eventually)...I've also included some diodes at the input of the LXH2 to make it more "booster friendly" (something I saw in an ROG pedal)...I was wondering if forum members could just take a look at the layout, to iron out possible errors before I make this (hopefully this weekend)...also another query I have is regarding the last opamp (I've used one half of a TL072) - - is that bipolar supply as well?

Also, I'm not sure how to wire the tonestack...where do the 2nd lugs connect to?

Help us help you:

If you post a schematic (or link to one), then you might find more takers.
Also, some of the pots in your layout don't seem to be labelled...

No power supply has been mentioned in the .gif attached... I'm guessing the supply to all the opamps is bipolar +- 9V, but can this be verified? Thanks.

Looks like a bipolar supply as the signal is referened to ground.
I think you have too many pots in your layout - there should be 1 dual-gang gain pot, 1 (presence?), 3 in the tone section, and 1 level pot.

looks bipolar because there is no V+ splitter. look at this page for pot wirings.

[edit: ] your fifth and sixth pots should be a single dual pot. you've got a lot of doubled and series make-up-values there.

IIRC the circuit was designed for a +/-12V supply.

Search for the LHX website. I think it's still available somewhere.

Thanks, guys! I'm wiring this one tonight - - guess I'll try bipolar 9v and 12v and go with whatever sounds better :) let's hope this works, so we have a verified perf layout of this thing :)
