Here is the perfboard version:

This was the first time that I attempted five controls, and I'm happy to be able to show that it worked out--12 mm pots helped a lot. I could not use the five-pots board in this case: I actually did a proof-of-concept build, and I found that the bushing of the sub-mini switches was only barely long enough to penetrate the chassis when the switches were board- mounted. I can have Taiway make one slightly longer, but that has to go behind other investment priorities.

Clearly, I would be happy if other people hacked the basic idea using other one-stage JFET or MOS boosts. The .diy file can be downloaded from here:

Tight build!

I like the mini style pedal case your using in this, but I can't help to think that it doesn't look quite right with that footswitch. Ever thought about getting in larger flat footswitches similar to the ts808?

The TS and similar pedals use momentary switches to trigger logic that drives FET electronic switching. You Can use a momentary switch in the Bare Box and drive a Monomonster or Molten Voltage board with it to provide true bypass switching. But I specifically had the enclosure made to be friendly to the now-typical 3PDT stomper. I have posted in Projects

a couple of other builds for the Bare Box, and I hope you'll try one.
