I'm going to build the JH-2 Fuzz and I've got all parts except for this diode. Any info on what to look for when measuring diodes and what will work as a replacement?
I'm still quite new to this. Thanks.

Well....

It's a 9.1V 500mW Zener so;

TZX9V1A
TZX9V1C
BZX55B9V1
NZX9V1C,133
BZX79-B9V1,133
BZX79-B9V1,143
1N5999B

Lot's of generic 9.1V Zeners are available.

Thanks. I got a whole lot of NOS diodes from a garage sale and a few BZX79's are among them.
