Adding a momentary switch to effects loop

Hi

I am new to DIYstompboxes.com and need some help.

I want to add(in additional to) a momentary switch to this circuit.  My goal is to be able to able turn the effects loop on and off with the 3DPT but, also be able to activate the loop with a momentary switch.

I found this drawing which is the basic setup




Any insight or help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

It's a completely passive true bypass I put together that allows a momentary switch to either engage a bypassed loop or disengage a selected loop. You'll have to replace the 3pdt latching switch with a 4pdt latching switch if you want an indicator light.

Easiest way I can think this up is to use a DPDT relay for the actual audio switching.

Then you just need a latching switch and a momentary switch to only control on/off for the relay's coil. If you're already going to be running power to the pedal for a LED it's not an issue.

Simpest way is to just wire the switches in parallel so either energizes the coil.


The question is:do you want it fancy enough so when the latching switch is engaged, the momentary then bypasses the pedal?

This exact question was my starter to building stompboxes. Be careful, because it most certainly gets addictive. 
Two years ago, I found help in a german stompbox forum and this was the solution with a 3PDT and a DPDT they came up with:

Be careful: The DPDT is orientation-sensitive. If it doesn't work on the first time, try to rotate this one 180°.
