C2- .015uf
C3- .22uf
C4- .47uf
C5- .0047uf

This way?? You know the values that Barry uses??

yeah thats what i used. if ya don't have a .015 cap, use a  10n and 4.7n cap in parallel.

barry uses
c2 6.8n
c3 10n
c4 220p
c5 2,2n in his build doc for it. http://www.guitarpcb.com/PDF%20Files/The%20Vibe.pdf

but you could make em all, say, 10n and it would sound a bit more like a traditional phaser i'd imagine.
take a look at a phase 90 schematic. it's virtually the same circuit.

you can pretty much use whatever you like in there. i went with the univibe  cap values just because i wanted something easy to use in place of my univibe, the thing weighs a tonne and is a pain in the ass having to use the expression pedal and everything.
so i put it all (in this case) in a pyle pro wah shell. unfortunately, it has to work backwards due to the physical restraints of the box, so heel down is fast and toe down is slow... but it's still pretty groovy. i made the dry side of the 150k resistors 100k, maybe 130, i forget...  cuz i wanted a little more wet than dry. too small a resistor there tho and the tone suffers, 100k was about the limit if i recall.
you may wanna patch a 250k pot in there temporarily and find where it sounds best, then take the pot out and measure it and use the closest standard value you've got.

glad ya got it going bro. rock on. ;)

Yeah!!

many thanks Jimi.

R17 is the wet side and R18 dry, really? I try to replace with small values. R17- 50k and R18- 100k. What do you think??

I look at the univibe shematic, and the cap values for the phase satge are all the same that you mentioned, but one of them changes. C12 (univibe shmeatic) have a value of 470pf. I think you meant .47nf for C4

univibe phase caps.
c5- 0.015
c9- 0.22
c12- 470pf
c15- 0.0047

thanks!!

hey bro, yeah, i got bad eyes and am a trifle burnt out at the moment, but yeah, that would be .0047, or 4.7n

for the mixing resistors, where r 17 and 18 come together?  i'd keep r 17 100k, and maybe go down a little on r18. if you go too low, the effect will suffer.

i built a very early revision of this called the dr phybes, i believe the mixing resistors were both 150k in that. i left the wet side at 150k and went with 100k on the dry side i think. sorry, it's been a while since i built it.
