I'm a bit puzzled with this one, i'm not really familiar with chorus/flanger circuits and this is not a simple one so i could use some help.

At first i thought i didn't get any sound at all, but when i hit the string hard enough there is some sound coming trough, very noisy and distorted. doesn't sound like a guitar, just crackling noise.

i suspected the first part of the circuit, a TL072 and replaced it. still the same problem. i'm not really sure what to look for now, all diodes seem to be fine, resistors too. the circuit is partly digital. i have a schematic but i don't think i'm allowed to post it here...

HI,
perhaps i can help you with the schematics.
I hope that the digital part is not used for the signal but for the modulation or the control panel board.

analogguru

e-mail the schematic to me an i will have a look. e-mail adress is in the profile.

...and if possible a photo from the solder side of the coron DC-890 Handclapper - that I can finish the tracing project.

Any news here? I have the same pedal and it seems broken too, when switched in bypass mode there is no sound at all and when turned on there is some sound coming through, but no chorus effect at all.

I would be glad to get the schematic if it is not too much trouble.

Thanks

I got the schematic from george dennis himself, great support! I have not begun to check what might be wrong yet so if anyone has any input on this I would be glad to hear it.
