Hi Im an electronics newbie

I built a nice fuzz, play well with guitar, and very very loud
but when i plug it on my synths (Minibrute or Microkorg) the volume seems very low... i have another one which i bought that work well...

is it a matter of input impedance?? there is a way to fix it? can somebody can explain me a bit of theory?

thanks!!

The fuzz you have may not like the low input impedance of the line level inputs of a mixer or audio interface. Need to know what circuit this fuzz is and what you are plugging it in to. It is highly unlikely the synth output is weak compared to a guitar, so I don't expect it's a problem with the input of the fuzz.

Welcome.

The fuzz may be roughly the same output no matter what.

If the synth is stronger than guitar (usually true), and the non-fuzz amplifier gain is set to allow for this, the lower fuzz output IS low by comparison.
