Hi!

I'm new as a member here, but I've been following a lot of topics from this forum for many years. Got a lot of help, tips and ideas.

Ok, I would like to build this simple compressor:

What does "stereo link" mean here? I just want the compressor to be used as a mono-device.

hello anders.

it looks very much like the stereo link is an output from the rectifier section, meant to connect to and control the gate circuit in "the other channel". just ignore it, and you'll be laughing.

I think I see something very strange regarding how is the opamp "connected".

I don't think this will work at all. I advise to NOT build from the schemo you linked.
