Maestro MPF-1 Parametric Filter - can I use a 20k instead of 10k pot?

Here's the relevant portion of the MPF-1 schematic:

The "Height" pot calls for a 10k "S" taper, which is more commonly known as a "W" taper these days. Since it's acting as a voltage divider rather than a variable resistor, would there be any difference in this particular implementation with using a 20k pot instead of a 10k? The Tube Screamer tone control is the only W-taper pot available to us DIYers that I've come across.

I could also use parallel resistors if needed to get the 10k value, but thought I'd see if this was possible first before I went down that path.

Action will be less dramatic near center. (Swamp resistors won't help.)

Do it. Probably works, maybe with a wide mid-zone of "not much happening".
