Digitally analogily, what is your preferred method?

I don't think it's about what we prefer....it's about what you prefer.

Best to either listen to sound samples of reverb tanks....and digital reverb effects.

Better yet....if you can sample them in person at a music store...all the better.

For my conservative use of reverb...digital effects made from the Accutronics "bricks" sound just fine.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

a few ways

- spring reverb tank and preamp, such as this

- belton style reverb brick, has some 2399 delay chips inside I think

- multiple pt2399 delays arranged creativily

- FV-1 chip or module for something more hi-fi, powerful would be my preference, though it has a steeper learning curve, even if you're using spincad

There's always the Phil Spector method of a big empty oil tank with a speaker at one end and a mic at the other.

Starwells.

Enclosed parking lots.

Hoses with a speaker at one end and a mic at the other.

Plate reverb, where a large hanging thin metal membrane is vibrated by a driver of some kind and a contact mic of some kind is affixed to  it.

Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.
