How about M65830  Looks like the top line can match that. It's a uC controlled delay IC.

Don't think it comes in a PDIP format. The one in your datasheet is closer to the size of the 6116 chip in the pic.

Yeah saw that, but i thought maybe a different manufacturier might

Been doing some more enhancing. Looks like Analog Devices logo on the right. Upper number ending in "JN". So far I see 75**JN, or 78**JN.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

How about AD7569JN? Looks like the numbers would match the shapes, and it's 24 pin skinny package. Also, the datasheet states that it can be used with the 6116 for delay, and sample hold functions.

Yes, that looks like a very likely candidate. It also shows a 4040 to drive it. And as a bonus you could also use it to drive stepper motors!  :icon_biggrin:

digi2t

Yeah, saw that about the 4040. It could be one of the unmarked chips on the board.

The CD4040 is clearly marked in the picture on Page 1.

After some cognitive thought... I wonder if the Chip marked A2 (looks like it is IC7) might be a compander NE570? Thoughts??

I believe that the hidden 8 dip chip, hidden in the upper corner of the picture, might be a dual opamp. Looking at trace side pictures, the footprint looks like pin 7 going to an electro cap, and then connecting to a shielded cable out to the mix pot.
