Cliff jacks till I die! I prefer to do my grounding to chassis properly, not randomly.

There is nothing random about a Switchcraft jack's grounds.  If you don't want it grounded, you use a isolation washer.

These jacks might work well in 1590LB builds- the lugs look like they could be drilled with 0.5mm to accommodate a 26ga wire easy enough, and its an advantage to be able to mount the circuit board close to the jack without worries of shorting out on it. I'll have to order some for a trial.

These Rean have a small side profile - traded for a little extra length. I have made things where this profile was useful.
