hey tone dudes,  i'm not disrespecting anyone's product here....just to get that out there, first!!  not pickin on anyone or lookin to start trouble......

i just happened to notice that a BMP board from "pedal parts UK" (i guess its alright to mention manf'r, right?) has several more components than the BMP board from the GGG boys.

I dont knoww enough about them....but is there one that is actually true to the "original"?  Or both "pretty close"?....etc., etc.   I'm just curious.

I've done both GGG's and just finished a PedalParts.co.UK op amp muff. The only real difference is that the PedalParts.co.UK board includes spaces to accommodate analogguru's sustain mod.  Edit you can still omit those mods, if you choose. I like having the option.

I'm surprised I haven't seen that sovtek.webs site before. Great resource, though.
Anyway, either board can be used to build either the '77 or '78 versions of the circuit (also, the op amp Little Big Muff from that period as well). If you're wanting a more compact board, with some spots for a nifty mod, I'd go with Fuzz Dog's, otherwise the GGG board is also great.

Here are some more resources for Op Amp Muff boards  -

I haven't tried any of these personally, but they all look good.

There's also http://www.guitarpcb.com/apps/webstore/products/show/3436309, but it uses two dual op amps, and does sound slightly different to the dual/ single combo of the vintage spec. More amp-like, less fuzz boxy, I wanna say. It still sounds great, though.

wow---great links...thanks so much guys.  yeah--forgot all about kit rae's website.....  MAN....i gotta start writing this shit down.  HAHAHAAHA

yeah, i saw a pic of the pedal parts one....maybe thats what it was...stuffed with all the extra "mod" components perhaps.   anyway...no big deal.  i was just wondering.  i'm totally happy with GGG products.  high quality. works for me.

great links!  now i got plenty to do tonight! lol   thanks again.
