I did my Boss SD-1 Mod,except this time I used a 4.7kr for R5,a 1K for R6.I also changed R17 from 100k to 10k, and i can't remember why.When I turn up the Drive,i'm getting a high pitched squeal.Also,as you turn the Drive up past noon,it sounds like a really bad fuzz.Not sure what's going on.Any suggestions?Thanks!

a 1K for R6.
Assuming you didn't change C3, changing R6 from 4.7K to 1K increases the max gain from 212-ish to 1000-ish. It also changed the corner frequency from 720Hz to 3.39KHz. That's what's causing the squeal and the bad fuzz. Try a 2.2K for R6, but also change C3 to 100nF.

A schematic would be helpful.
