I was checking out Hufschmid Guitars which I am deeply "in love with" by the way.. And, I was wondering how the "Hufglow" stuff works. Seems it's something called "Super-LumiNova" photoluminescent material which will glow very brightly for hours and hours after being exposed to sun light or an ultra bright LED light. You can get (or make your own) LED light charger which can recharge the material in just a couple seconds. You can see the stuff here on the Hufschmid guitars.

They get the stuff from a Japanese company called "Luminlay" and that is where I found the knobs... LED light without any LED's and thus without any wires, power etc.. Sounds cool to me!   :icon_biggrin:  Roughly $11.00 per knob though is kinda steep..   :o

Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Great looking guitars, so much innovation in materials used. Check out the plectrum link as well, as a fan of V picks these are tempting but i'll need to win the lottery first.

I just bought a "broken" fuzz face mini for cheap and that has glow in the dark pointers

Is Luminlay based in Fukushima by any chance?
