PT2399 chips

The prices of these chips varies wildly from european sellers to oriental sellers.
My question is. Are there any differances between the two? will I have problems if i buy the hong kong versions?
Anyone had any bad experiances with these?

Sometimes they are faked. Sometimes the more expensive ones are audited. Sometimes the more expensive ones are just guaranteed to be Princeton Technologies and not a clone/fake. Generally you're fine ordering from established sellers regardless, and no one's going to be testing them to filter out the "bad" or more noisy chips.

If you want to stay local, Rich, go to Dr Tweek.  Steve tests each PT2399 in a Rebote before sending it out.  Not each cheap as T**da (or any number of HK outfits), but you know it's gonna work.

(Small caveat: he's out of stock at the mo'...)

Wow the rebote 2.5 is an awesome build with plenty of mods . Time to go shopping for chips thanks.

I built the rebote with some substitutions last night . yet again waiting for chips. Wish me luck.
