I started working on this board yesterday that is intended to be a glorified breadboard with the sole purpose of auditioning opamps and clipping diodes while providing the ability to change the input z, bias voltage, hi-pass filter, opamp gain, etc. My plan is to socket everything that I want to experiment with. I even put some notes and math on the board just to keep it in front of my face when I'm messing around.

Good idea or am I wasting my time? :) I'm going to fabricate one this afternoon to see if it's as useful in practice.

The Times They Are a-Changin

I'm still with not so aesthetically pleasing perfboard contraptions ... or even more profane ratnested-deadbuggged spaghetti soups.

You on the other hand, are showing us mortals the way of the future.

gets my vote. is it for just you, or general consumption?

are you taking suggestions? seeing as it's an eval board, people might like a series supply protection diode as well as reverse shunt. also, some might like a second gain leg, al-la rat.
