External bias control on a Tonbender Mk II...worth it?

Title says it all. Looking to build a Mk II Tonebender, should I mount the bias externally? Thanks!

Depends on the range of temperatures you want to use it in.

My vote is for "yes". Depending on the transistor, an external bias allows you to get that gated fuzz sound, or to get a more over-driven type sound out of it. This is particularly true if making a silicon TBMKII.
