I've got a photograph of one of the pedals used by George Harrison in the Let It Be sessions. It's not a fuzz face. It looks a little like a tonebender (a black triangle shape) but has a chrome plate on the flat section of the top, and three silver knobs on the top and a large LED. It's not home made, it has writing printed on it. It's not something I've seen before. I'm trying to attach the picture to the post but I can't get it to work. I got the photo from the Get Back book. There was a fuzz face in the first footage of Let It Be but it was just stuffed under the Fender Amp and not used for that bit. Any thoughts anyone? Sorry if this is not the right place for this post. Incidentally as far as I can make out the Let It Be guitar solo sounds much more like a Jordan Bosstone than a Fuzz Face.

If the picture exists on the web, just use the insert image button and paste the like between the two .

If its in a book, you can always take a photo or scan and upload the photo to a site and then use the above directions

This one:

Leslie pre-amp as Electric Warrior stated.

Think George also used a silicon Fuzz Face.

Noone knows wether it's silicon or germanium. If it's silicon, it's a BC183L model; they usually have different knobs than the germanium ones, but the pic in the book is so dark, it's hard to see the knob at all:

Woa nice one, yes that's it, how amazing. Right next step, gotta make one:)

Electric Warrior

That seems to be a grey Vox wah right next to it, btw.  ;D

I think there'd be little point without a Leslie behind it.

Yes I feel a bit stupid, I'm not going to make one, I don't have a Leslie. Thanks again for the comments, most appreciated, and I've got that book, it's massive. Very good.

In a related pointless desire, I always wanted a rosewood Tele like you see in that photo. For a long time they weren't even that expensive - apparently they're very heavy and that cut down the demand for them. But have you ever seen anything more gorgeous?
