I bought the Ted Weber 8 output transformer (the 240V version, I'm Aussie!) and all the parts about 5 years ago, and there they sat until a few weeks ago. I finally decided to finish building the power supply. I built it into a Hammond 1550K that I purchased in black powdercoat. I literally only had to buy the veroboard as all the parts were sitting in various bags for five years. Hit the dropbox link to check it out! There's also some pictures of my pedal board I build out of aluminium extrusion I had lying around at work that was powdercoated and wasn't being used.

To be honest, I believe this is the most compact Geofex Spyder I've seen around the internet. I ran into a few traps though. If you're going to attempt a build this compact, here's what I learned:
- Make sure to leave adequate clearance between the 2.5mm jacks. I did them a little to close so the nuts were difficult to tighten. And extra millimeter between each row would have worked better.
- Make sure there's enough clearance between the first row of DC jacks and the bottom veroboard. I used 10mm metal standoffs.
- The top veroboard needs to be cut to accommodate the DC jacks.
- The IEC mains input connector is a little to high on the box. This makes a bit tricky to stack the second veroboard, I recommend moving the connector about 6-7mm closer to the lid of the box. I had to cut down some stand offs.
- Insulate the bottom of the boards with layers of electrical tape, the fly leads for the transformer secondaries run under the bottom veroboard.
- Clearance is the key. I had to rotate the bottom board 180 degrees so the 2.5mm DC jacks could fit. So the outputs of the regulator circuits are on the other side of the box.
- Summary of dimensional changes: move IEC connector 6-7mm closer to the lid so you don't have to cut stand offs. Move the set of 6 DC jacks about 5mm away from the corner (you can see there's plenty of clearance between the LEDs and the transformer, I miscalculated this), move the set of 3 DC jacks away from the corner.

It's a very compact build, so take your time, double check and triple check absolutely everything, work systematically, make sure there are no shorts.
