Wow, killer selection of colors and styles on the 1900's at Thonk! Loving the Dark Red!

Anybody got a lead on these unusual colors in the USA?

Steve at Thonk is a good bloke and has some interesting stuff. Catering for the wiggling community, but bits and pieces for us too. He keeps some of the 9mm Alpha-like pots, but with an extended shaft, and the little nubs that everyone breaks off are already removed!

Really classy gear has collet knobs. There is a tapered collar inside, somewhat like the chuck on a Dremmel tool, tightened with a screw in the end. Screw head covered with a snap-in cap. These cost $20 or more each, and are not readily available.

They're also a pain in the arse and (often) require a special tool (not cheap) to tighten/remove, AND you end up losing the end caps all the time.

Metal (brass) internal collar w set screw is the best but almost as expensive as the cheaper end cap ones.  A good modern budget alternative are the ones with not a full internal brass ring, but at least a threaded rectangular plate for the screw to screw into (vs screwing into plastic, which is ridiculous and I will not tollerate it), like this:

Thonk has just about the best logo I've ever seen.
