Uglyface envelope not working. no laser love.

it turns out that when mounting the board I got a little tiny bit of super glue on the terminal of the optocoupler so maybe this is the problem?? I don't think I can get it off but I do hae another board from music pcb.com so maybe ill just build a new one. maybe ill try to replace this one anyways. this no lazer love/ weak envelope or no envelope seems to be a very common problem though so I just wish there was a solid awnser to this phenomenom

check your wiring and solder. i've built 5 of these things, and every single one broke my balls somehow... but once they were working, there was no mistaking these things, they are *NOT* SUBTLE AT ALL!!

I built another ugly face yesterday with a LM386 and vtl 5c3. The sensitivity knob on my new UF dosent work either! im using a music pcb board.

Do what I suggested earlier, that will help show where the problem is.
