...what do you want to modulate with the LFO?

I came across something awhile back with a Thing Modulator and an LFO which sounded pretty cool. I just did a youtube search and found this.

I do want to ask a previous question as well. Is there a way to get rid of the high pitch whine? In the video I linked it's quiet. Mine is not!

I would like the LFO to give me a Tremolo type effect if possible. Any thoughts or ideas?

why not just sling an ldr across the "FREQ" pot, run the led from the lfo, see if you have any uncles named bob?

your uncle bob may act differently depending on how much of his freq pot can see the ldr, so high freq (?) settings will have less modulation.

[edit :] it dawns on me that you want trem, not freq modulation. in which case, you might connect one end of bob's ldr to the wiper of the "MIX" pot, and then switch the other end between either "1" or "3" on the mix pot. this will then tremm more dry or more wet signal into your output. in theory.
I feel sick.

That sounds like a bit crusher to me.
Is that what the Thing is ?
Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.
