Hi everyone, I have been with the Univox Super Fuzz circuit, for several months now and I have successfully built 2 just fine and they sounded great, and all the voltages read correctly at the transistors.

I have spent the entire day looking and looking and looking at my perf board and layout and can not understand why my voltages on Q1 and Q2 are reading wrong.  Here is what I am currently getting:

Q1 B: 0.49
     C: 8.63
     E: 0.006

Q2 B: 8.63
     C: 8.93
     E: 8.02

The "correct" voltages are

Q1 B: 0.8
     C: 5.6
     E: 0.2

Q2 B: 5.6
     C: 9.5
     E: 5.0

Here is the Schematic that I have been using:

I added a 10K trim to ground between the 2 22K resistors as a bias because some other versions have that.

Here is my current layout that I used for my current board that I am having the problems with:

Why would the voltages on the Q1 and Q2 be so much higher than they are supposed to be?  Oh fuzz gods please share your wealth of knowledge.

Thanks,
Chuck

FOUND IT!  Damn that took forever.   The "input" of the "expander knob"  was connected to the wrong 10uf cap.
