EJ mods

Hi, I am building an EJ Fuzzface. I am trying to decide which of the known addtional controls to put on top. I have some builds with Contour, Bias and the internal trim on top of the standard Fuzz and Volume.  Right now I was going to go with the 5k Trim ( in line with the 6k ) as the third control on top. Given the nature of the EJ ( NPN w/ med to strong HFE ) circuit, am I better off with the 50k front ( Bias ) control ( acts like a guitar vol, I think ) or the 1k-5k contour ( as in the fulltone).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
