ok, what if I had an input for each switch? an individual In and out for each switch, (amp)?????? In that form of diagram, drawings will work.

I don't get your point about 2 inputs...How many guitars are you wanting to play?

The diagram that mth posted is assuming you have:

-1 Guitar (that will be connected to the INPUT of the box)
-2 Amps (2 OUTPUTS in the box, connected to 2 AMP inputs)

You can then select if you want to use AMP A, AMP B or both.

If what you want is 2 different guitars in 2 different amps, then you need something different.

To run my pedal board effects in stereo 2 cables. One for one amp. And one for the other. With this switch to mute a specific amp for certain songs.

So two mute switches in one box.

I believe he wants to be able to run the amps together as well?

One stereo input, two mono outputs that can be run A/B+AB.

OP - Isn't this exactly what your last thread was about?

> able to run the amps together as well?

Un-mute both amps.

It is REALLY hard to talk about this without a picture.

yes two separate mute switches in one box. My tremolo when hooked up in stereo with 2 wires coming out, has a rotary sound that's really cool. When running cables from the pedal: one going to one amp and the other cable to the other amp. Thats why I wanted the 2 inputs/ 2 outs. And yes I want to use both amps. but have the toggle switches to mute Either A or B amp. Making more sense? It's crazy, but I want to still have that crazy sound I can get from my tremolo, When playing both amps on. Just need to know how to wire those switches like that.

Pictures are in the 3 links in the first post.

2 stereo jacks/ 2 mono jacks and 2 DPDT toggle on/off switches. Can you make a diagram for me on how to wire those up for the way I'm wanting to use the box?

or would that be an A/b/x/y switch?

What was wrong with the picture I gave you, two seperate mutes. Either/or/and/not you put up is too complicated. It has one switch that chooses A or B and a second that chooses both/one amp(s).

Just use two mute buttons. Each one grounds the input of the unused amp.

Here it is again:

You make two of these.

You don't need to call this a "DI Box" unless you need one of those. An impedence matcher. You don't.

sorry haven't been on. I have made it and it works fine. How could I add a jack for my EV-5 expression can control the volume?
