Possible to run a pot instead of a switch in the Superheated Super Hard On?

Hey All

First off thanks to Frequency Central for the Superheated design, good times:

Is it at all possible to replace the Superheated switch with some sort of pot to move between degrees of superheated and normal?  I guess the same question could apply to any Mu/SRPP design.  Appears it would mess with the transistor voltage/biasing moving between superheated and the 5.1k so I'm not sure it's even possible.  I guess it would sort of act like a second gain pot.

Thanks in advance :)

Whaaaaaaat
While searching here for a srpp thread I came across Rick Holts Red Dwarf.
I'm upset nobody told me there was a red dwarf effect. :(

This might help or you could do a search here. There's plenty to go at.

Thanks Kipper.

I've had a good read of that thread and searched a few other SRPP threads and read RG Keen's article and sadly I still cannot work out how I could put a pot in this schematic to blend between the superheated and regular version.  My only (very average) thoughts are I'll breadboard trying running a pot instead of the switch with lug 3 connected to the SRPP and lug 1 the 5.1k resistor as a sort of blend control but since my knowledge is limited I'm pretty sure that's going to give me a whole world of biasing nightmares.

I'll keep plugging away and see if I can work this thing out, unless someone has any ideas.  There's always a way!

Look at reply 5 some of those have a resistor between the fets. 2k I believe.
Why not bread board it and stick a trimmer in wired as a variable resistor.. I'm not sure it's gonna get you where you want to be but.....
