Adding jumper to 3PDT to ground board

The first pic is how I have been wiring up my 3PDT. If I want to go back and quickly ground all the board inputs of my pedals, is it okay to simply add a jumper? The second pic shows what I have in mind with the red line indicating the jumper wire.
Thanks!

Yes that'd ground the board input in bypass mode no probs

Same as mine apart from using different lugs mine being a jumper from 1 to 6

Thanks Billy! hmmm... Does this mean I don't need a 1M pulldown resistor anymore?

You still need the pulldown resistor.

Okay, thanks. I will keep adding them to my builds. But why won't the input cap drain out with a direct contact to ground? Or does the pulldown res also have something  to do with input impedance when the effect is engaged?
