already read the few posts of the past about the inductorless ckts around.

I got myself a bespeco weeper for 10 euros, who could resist?! took it home and mmm as shania said that don't impress me much!!! not bad, but it seems just a small portion of the pot rotation gives you the swell of a wah, on the upper frequencies, other than that the bassy part is quite muffled so it doesn't make me scream in happiness...adjusted a little the pot range, but again no better wahs.
Easily performed the colorsound mod, just some changes and that's it. Sure it's better this way, but again, the bass part doesn't sound rich and full...
took my old ibanez wh10 I had in a closet (I bought it used like 23 years ago...) - I remembered it was quite good, but it adds too much gain and volume, on clean and distorted sounds. I get more bass o the toe position for sure. I know it's easy to replicate one and put it on the bespeco enclosure...but...
what I miss about the IWs is the Morleys...I downloaded their schems right off their site (kudos for that) and I want to try the classic wah or the pro series wah, and keep the bespeco wiring (volume pedal when wah is off) - do you think those ckts have more thump on the bass side and not sound so muffled as the others?!

Now I have the CIW'ed bespeco near the wh10 - the first just disappears - the wh10 has more frequencies and more boost...want to try the morleys and see what's best...

mmm maybe it's not a hot topic, it seems... :-[
anyway, I did a vero layout for a pro series II wah (PWA II) with a switchable cap as seen on the dual bass (PBA 2), built it and...I like it very much!!! Much better filter and a good amount of gain, the volume control at the end is mandatory (all their schems have it).

I did a write-up a while ago on a different type of inductorless wah that emulates the frequency response of the classic inductor wah circuit:

It's easy to adjust the sweep range where you like it.  You can get more Q with the opamp version, but I thought the transistor version sounded better.
