Can anyone help me with adding a switch to a Meathead tagboard?...

I've seen some discussion on switchable caps & was thinking about doing something like this with a couple of my upcoming builds.

I'm planning on making 5 - 6 tagboard Meatheads in black with snazzy knobs & dial plates. I know they sound great and figured the premium extras might make them that little bit more attractive to buyers. The tagboard will be like my Buzzaround build, carbon comp resistors & tasty axial capacitors. The build is the antithesis of the Buzzaround though as it's a very less is more kind of thing.

So, what options are out there, caps-wise. I read one idea that changed it from a "standard" to a "dark" version. Any others?

Also, can anyone either point me in the direction of a tagboard diagram that has an added switch or, ideally, point out where the switch/cap combo would go on this tagboard layout?....

I know there are veroboard diagrams with what I want but I can't translate them into tagboard versions.

Attach another cap to where your 10nf meets the base of Q1.  Attach a .47 (?) uF cap there. The input wire now goes to the center of a single pole double throw switch. The unattached ends of the caps go to the two outer lugs of the switch.

Thanks for the reply!

So, like this....

Seems pretty straightforward :)

it will pop each time you throw the switch, unless you add equalise/pulldown resistors, I think across the two outer switch lugs, and then from one outer lug to ground.
